The Fashion Design Council of India presented the Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers India Couture Week 2014; a unique platform to showcase the best in India couture designs. The six-day extravaganza captured the finest impulses of the fashion industry at the fabled couture city of Delhi. The event was scheduled from July 15 – 20, 2014 at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

Couture in India traces back its history to an era when each garment was opulent, brimming with creativity and celebrated for its intricate artwork as it was courted by the Royals. The event was an effort to recreate that magic as it featured some of the most fascinating collections, an amalgamation of art, culture and mystery on the ramp.

The style icons of the country created a beautiful bridge between contemporary and archaism during the Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers India Couture Week 2014.

The designers who showcased on this couture runway were Anamika Khanna, Anju Modi, Gaurav Gupta, Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Monisha Jaising, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Varun Bahl.

The prestigious designers of the country delighted fashion enthusiasts and created memorable moments with their fantabulous collections.
